2. Florida State blew it big time losing to North Carolina
St.17-16.
3. South Carolina beats Georgia 35-7 as the "ball coach"

6. Tennessee State king of the HBCU's with that portion
of their schedule finished defeated edged Eastern Kentucky 23-20.

Bend this weekend. The Notre Dame hype machine is in full effect. The Irish my self prolcaimed NCAA bully, are on a roll.
8. Penn State has now won four in a row. The Nittany Lions
beat Northwestern 39-28.
9. Ohio State blasted Nebraska 63-38. The Buckeyes, shades of last years most feared team in the PAC-12, USC, are ineligible to participate in the Big-10 championship game.
10. Oregon, one of my personal favorites this decade and their video game offense blasted Wasgington 52-13. The Ducks have to run the table to become a serious player. Stay tuned for that development.

In high school action this past weekend

Roger Robinson IV of Good Counsel is an up and coming player.

Good Counsel remained unbeaten in WCAC play with a hard fought 13-10 win over DeMatha at Olney. The Stags miscued with 5:11 remaining in the fourth quarter, missing a makeable field goal which would have tied the game. Both defenses dominated the remainder of the fourth quarter.

"It was a typical DeMatha matchup, they always
play us tough." said Falcon coach Bob Milloy. "We are in the drives seat" the coach told his players after the defensive struggle. "We were very fortunate to win."

"We have to play better to defend our title" said Milloy.
Good Counsel led 13-3 at the half that featured Kendall Fuller's 72 yard punt return for a touchdown. The Falcons played the second half without two of its starting linebackers - Darien Carr and Dorian O' Daniel, who also is the starting tailback.

The Falcons relied on several underclassmen to step up and
play major roles.

"We will look at the tape on Monday and find out what
corrections we need to make." said Coach Milloy.
