Tasia Butler – 5’11” guard, North Point, Waldorf, MD – Headed to Syracuse, Butler is a fairly all-around guard, one that shoots, pats, rebounds and assists. Finished with 21 points, four rebounds, and two assists, en route to ESBC MVP honors.

Butler will have to be more of a point guard in college, but seems equipped to make that adjustment.

Ieshia Smalls – 6’0”, guard, Florida State HS, Tallahassee, FL – Dropping 18 points, seven rebounds and 10 dimes, Smalls proved herself an electrifying performer, driving, shooting and diming. As a top level player, to continue that standing Smalls needs to be even more of a point guard; sometimes she passes, when scoring is obstructed, and driving to pass will ensure her standout status in college. Indicating her mindset now is the response “Who doesn’t?”, when asked if she loves to put the rock up.

Iesha Smalls is a dynamic player.

In terms of where she will enroll in the fall, Smalls noted “I’m deciding between South Carolina and Baylor”. She’s drawn to the former by “the head coach, Dawn Staley”, a former collegiate and professional star who Ieshia believes can improve here. Of the latter, Smalls likes the program’s success, as well as her AAU teammates Alexis Prince and Niya Johnson signing there and enrolling in the fall. Add her cousin, Odyssey Sims being a current Baylor Bear.

Smalls has a flair for the dramatic on the court – consistently looking for the ‘wow’ play - and being able to deliver it, on the high school level. This athletic player who loves to compete is apparently dramatic off the floor also – she’s going to announce her choice at the McDonald All-American game, this Wednesday.

Natalie Butler- Lake Braddock (VA) – Butler likes to play in the paint and mix it up. Did so to the tune of 18 points and a ESBC high 16 rebounds, and his headed to Georgetown.

QJ Peterson - Massanutten Military Academy (VA)_ – VMI bound guard loves to score, but can dime as well. Finished just shy of a triple double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and nine dimes.

Elliott Pitts - De La Salle (CA) – A future University of Arizona shooting guard that loves to pull up. Had 12 points, two rebounds and three assists

Zach Fong - Gar-Field (VA) – Joining Johnson at the Naval Academy, Fong, a combo guard, loves to shoot from the perimeter. Logged 15 points and six assists.

Breanna Brown - Friendly (MD) – A shooter that also defends, Brown had four points and four boards in 15 minutes.

Malachi Alexander - Eleanor Roosevelt (MD) – Forward finished with nine points, six rebounds and two assists. Can rebound, score around the tin, and step out to around 15 feet consistently.

Rodney Bullock - Kecoughtan (VA) – A future Providence Friar forward, Bullock scores around the rim, finishes, and is active. Had 15 points and three boards.

Trevor Thompson - St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy (WI) – Virginia Tech has snapped up this long and active finisher. Logged 15 points and seven rebounds.
